2012 Land Rover Defender
2012 Land Rover Defender - The 2012 Defender sports a smaller, cleaner diesel engine. A new EU5 2.2-litre diesel engine will replace the EU4 2.4-litre diesel engine, bringing greater levels of performance and refinement to the new model. In EU5 markets, the new engine comes with a diesel particulate filter (DPF) to ensure the lowest possible levels of regulated emissions. This is thanks to an improved combustion system and sophisticated engine management system.
The Land Rover Defender (initially called the Land Rover Ninety and Land Rover One Ten) is a British four-wheel-drive off-road utility vehicle developed from the original Land Rover Series launched in 1948.
Introducing the new and cleaner than ever Defender for 2012.As all Defender owners and Land Rover fans will know, the Defender is practically synonymous with superior off-road capability. When the 2007 Defender was introduced, it brought with it transformed on-road refinement and improved levels of comfort. The brand new 2012 Defender will bring even more improvements to this already legendary Land Rover model.
