2012 Chevrolet Suburban

2012 Chevrolet Suburban - The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban is a compelling choice for those who need a traditional full-size SUV with massive passenger, cargo and towing capacities. We just wonder how many people really do. For many, the 2012 Chevrolet Suburban is yesterday's dinosaur, but if you need an SUV of its ilk, it's actually the efficient choice.

MSRP from $42,220

Should SUVs such as the Chevrolet Suburban, a longer version of the Tahoe, be extinct? Faced with gas mileage in the teens, dimensions that hug both lines of a parking space and an outmatched V-8 that huffs more than it hauls, most shoppers will laugh their way to anything else. But for the few who need its capabilities, the Suburban has few peers.

2012 Chevrolet Cruze Review

2012 Chevrolet Cruze  Review -  The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze is a practical, comfortable, fuel-efficient, and a strong value, but it does lack the nimble, tossable feel that some small-car fans appreciate. Cruze challenges conventional compact wisdom with one simple word: more. Its cavernous, quiet interior and beautifully sculpted exterior feel like luxury. Cruze is filled with performance, safety and technology features you won't believe come in a compact.

Cruze offers upscale presence with the fuel economy(17) and price tag of a compact. And with its sculpted exterior and refined interior, it feels more like a sanctuary than a car when you're behind the wheel.

2012 Chevrolet Colorado LT Review

2012 Chevrolet Colorado LT Review - The Chevrolet Colorado is Chevy's entry in the highly competitive compact pickup segment. As with most of its modern competitors, the The Chevrolet Colorado comes in two basic trim levels: Work and LT. Work models come with cruise control, tilt steering, air-conditioning and automatic headlights. The LT trim is actually comprised of LT1, LT2 and LT3 subsets. Colorado is closer to midsize than compact, and thus offers a reasonable amount of hauling capability without requiring one to upgrade to a more expensive, less maneuverable full-size truck. The Chevy's affordable price makes it particularly appealing to budget-minded truck buyers and fleet managers.

The Colorado's aggressive, angular styling makes big promises of power, ruggedness and capability. Although it handles capably on-road and off, Chevrolet's compact pickup doesn't really deliver on the power front, due to its weak four- and five-cylinder engines. As the years have worn on, those engines have gained some power, but they don't hold a candle to the more refined V6 powerhouses of rivals.

2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE LS

2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE LS  - CHEVROLET CRUZE LS, Hatchback For Sale in Waikato is latest and top cars of the world. Cruze challenges conventional compact wisdom with one simple word: more. Its cavernous, quiet interior and beautifully sculpted exterior feel like luxury. Cruze is filled with performance, safety and technology features you won't believe come in a compact.

ECONOMICAL 1300CC ENGINE; FACTORY ALLOY WHEELS & DRIVING LIGHTS. COMPLETE WITH ROOF RAILS; DUAL AIRBAGS & EASY ACCESS SEATING. LOOKS SHARP IN BLACK!! DL_2AB_FAW.
On the move, the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze impresses with capable handling and a quiet cabin. Under the hood you have a choice of two engines. Base LS models have a 136-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder, but most Cruzes actually come with a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine. Horsepower is about the same from this smaller engine (138 hp), but torque rises significantly to give the Cruze a boost in around-town acceleration. The turbo also sees duty in the Cruze Eco variant. Thanks to various tweaks, the Eco achieves an impressive 42 mpg highway EPA rating.

2012 Chevrolet Silverado HD REVIEW

2012 Chevrolet Silverado HD REVIEW - The Chevrolet Silverado HD is a great choice for those who need a solid work truck or tow vehicle.  If you have the cash and the inclination to spend on options, the Silverado HD can be downright luxurious. Though "HD" has become common parlance, rest assured that the HD part of Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD does not, in fact, involve a television. In this case we're talking the old-fashioned meaning of HD: "Heavy Duty." The 2500HD is a true workhorse meant for big-league power, towing and hauling capabilities.

Although previously the name of a trim level on the old C/K pickup, Silverado became Chevy's full-size truck name in 1999. "HD," meanwhile, was applied in 2001 for heavy-duty versions of the regular-strength 2500. (Previously, HD had also been a trim level rather than a dedicated model.) Sound confusing? Well it is, and it all makes for a convoluted model history that rivals that of Dark Ages French royalty. Even for 2007, there were two 2500HDs on sale: an all-new redesigned model and the previous-generation 2500HD, which was being sold as the "Classic."

Chevrolet accomplished its goal of giving the 2011 Silverado HD best-in-class capability. In terms of hauling and towing, it is a virtual tie with the Ford Super Duty. The Silverado offers strong engines and pleasant road manners, but it lags behind the competition in terms of interior ambience and gadgets.

The power will likely be 440 horsepower, a bit more than the 436 horsepower currently available in the C6 Corvette. The new small-block will use the traditional overhead-valve layout, ensuring compact dimensions and lower manufacturing costs.

The Chevrolet Corvette is an American icon: a rear-wheel drive, two-seat sports car that started its legendary run in 1953 and has seen 57 years of continuous production in Flint, Michigan, St. Louis, Missouri and most recently in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Over the years it has constantly evolved to lead performance and value, with occasional lows and numerous highs along the way. Though it has little domestic competition, cars as disparate as the Dodge Viper, Porsche Boxster and 911, and the Nissan GT-R and 370Z can be considered rivals in terms of performance and/or price. The Chevrolet Corvette is priced from $48,000 to $56,000 for the standard Coupe and Convertible, from $58,000 to $68,000 for the Grand Sport, from $75,000 to $82,000 for the Z06, and from $106,800 for the ZR1.

2012 Chevrolet Equinox Review

2012 Chevrolet Equinox Review - With handling and fuel economy that are about on par with a mid-size sedan, plus a taller body that brings more space and versatility, the 2012 Chevrolet Equinox takes on the likes of the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. And as one of the roomier compact crossover utility vehicles, it remains a compelling choice for those who need an affordable, comfortable, and well-equipped vehicle that's good for family duty. A versatile layout, impressive performance, good ride comfort, and reasonable pricing all add up to make the 2012 Chevrolet Equinox a strong value—and a good pick for small families.

The 2012 Chevy Equinox is a stylish and comfortable entry in the highly competitive small-crossover segment. RAV4 and CR-V shoppers should take notice. The Equinox got a much-needed redesign just two years ago. The previous effort, under the same model name, had been half-baked, to be kind, but the current model has top-notch looks, performance and features. Its styling grew crisper and sportier than its predecessor, with better proportions as well as many of the cues of the 'new' Chevrolet. Inside, the cabin has lots of dramatic shapes and a central control panel, with vents flanking the radio and climate controls, that started with Cadillac and has more recently filtered down to Chevy models like the Cruze and Sonic.
