2012 KIA FORTE Review
2012 KIA FORTE Review - The KIA FORTE awarded as “TOP SAFETY PICK” of this 2011. The Kia FORTE 2012 received ratings of "Good" and in front, side, rear and rollover impact crash tests amazing those safety-minded buyers will surely appreciate. The Kia Forte Koup 2012 is a relatively new entrant to the affordable small cars market, but it is one that arrived with significant buzz and excitement.
The 2012 Kia Forte Koup promises to step up its game in what is already a peppy little vehicle. Previously powered by either a 2.0L or 2.4L inline 4-liter, the Forte Koup pushes out 156 and 173 hp. A turbocharged version is likely to top the 200hp marker if Kia manages to keep the engine and vehicle as light as they currently are.
2012 KIA FORTE Review has been doing well in the U.S. market against other small cars, managing to increase its market share even in a down economy. Competition includes the Mazada3 which is more fun to drive along with the Volkswagen Rabbit, but neither of which have offered the same fuel efficiency as the Forte. The promise of a hybrid version of the Koup in 2012 will further widen the gap in fuel efficiency and the turbocharged version will serve to bring this car more in line with the Volkswagen GTI or Honda Civic as far as power and performance are concerned.
2012 Kia Forte Koup white two-door coupe
2012 Kia Forte Koup white two-door coupe - 2012 Kia Forte Koup a great two-door car except for its bizarre spelling of coupe. The brand-new Kia Forte Koup is Kia's first two-door auto and a sibling to the new Forte sedan. The 2012 Kia Forte Koup is going to become the go-to car for the tuner crowd who like to add lots of power to small, import coupes. Expect it to challenge the Subaru WRX and similar cars among the urban street racing crowd. It’s a hot little number that turns heads and can provide a thrilling ride. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it racing down around Brainard Airport in Hartford once spring hits (not that I advocate street racing).
First introduced at the New York Auto Show last year, the Koup (and I have no idea why Kia spells coupe that way) is a two-door coupe with bold styling and a lot of zip under the hood from a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine, producing 156 horsepower and 144 pound-feet of torque that features Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) and multi-port electronic fuel injection, both of which allow for greater performance and fuel economy.
