It’s fair to say that Nissan is somewhat of a Johnny-come-lately when it comes to hybrid-vehicle movement. While automakers like Toyota and Honda hopped on the green party bandwagon long ago, Nissan’s lineup still only includes one hybrid vehicle, the Altima Hybrid. And even the Altima Hybrid, which borrows technology from Toyota, is only sold in small quantities in select geographic locations. Needless to say, Nissan’s upcoming electric vehicle, the 2012 Nissan Leaf, is long overdue. 2012 Nissan GT-R Review - Nissan has used the 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon as a giant springboard to launch the racing version of its impenetrable GT-R. The 2012 Nissan GT-R proves that world-class performance can be attained without stratospheric prices. Nissan GT-R claims this latest version can, but it wasn’t able to prove it, despite several attempts. The best the car could manage was 3.0 seconds. So, in entomological terms, it was about three beats of a bee’s wing slow, a glaring gap between claim and reality. Nissan’s man said it was because the track surface was cold that day. 2012 Nissan GT-R black edition is the best on 2012.
It is called the Nissan GT-R RC, where RC stands for Racing Competition, and was developed by NISMO, Nissan's in-house tuner. Predictably, it features a range of stuff you are likely to find on a number of racing cars, including a welded roll-cage, slick tyres, lightweight components and a 120-litre safety fuel tank.
