One of the biggest draws of the 2012 Detroit auto show is the new Honda NSX concept car. Developed in tandem by Honda's design studios in California and Japan, the new NSX is a svelte-looking supercar with an exciting purpose: it heralds Honda's new supercar.
After years of will-they, won't-they delays, concepts and U-turns, this time Honda is adamant - it really is replacing the original NSX.
The new NSX has big boots to fill: the 1980s original had a major impact on the supercar arena, bringing ease of use and less fearful road manners to the upper echelons of the sports car market. You could well argue that today's Audi R8 and Ferrari 458 Italia wouldn't be so biddable if the NSX hadn't existed.
So when can we buy the new Honda NSX?

Honda has confirmed the NSX is now a live project, as the company tries to claw back its reputation for cutting-edge engineering and exciting sports cars after the death - in Europe at least - of the S2000, Type R models and standalone sports cars.

Rendered in a gorgeous deep satin red with lots of glitzy chrome, the Accord coupe concept was not driven on stage but rather hurled like a curling stone toward the audience on a rotating platform, providing a 360-degree look at the car that will go on sale by the end of the calendar year.
The 2013 Accord Coupe will be instantly familiar to anyone who’s seen the car we have today. But the sharp creases of the current model look to be augmented with a few more curves, most notably in the line that rises over the rear wheel and the kick-up from the rocker panel.

And in fact, the Accord is one of the few choices; the Nissan Altima remains a chief alternative, though the Nissan feels a little more overtly sporty and a little less refined.The Accord Coupe is very closely related to the Honda Accord Sedan, but with a smoother downward-curving roofline, more sculpted flanks, and different styling around the rear, the Coupe can appear to be proportioned quite differently—even though the two versions essentially have the same front end.

2012 Honda Pilot Review - The 2012 Honda Pilot remains a top performer among large SUVs with three rows of seats. The 2012 Pilot has a new, upscale look, both inside and out. The interior layout is comfortable and easy to use, while the exterior design will complement any driveway. Honda's popular eight-seater gets mostly minor changes. Honda, like airline companies, likes its Pilots to be sober, and there’s nothing to raise the pulse in the 2012 Pilot, which the company has subtly refreshed. But for the vast number of Americans—and many of our own staffers—who appreciate the current Pilot and the innocuous, reliable, and easy way it transports up to eight people and their stuff, this is no bad thing.
The Honda Pilot is a mid-size crossover SUV. The Honda Pilot is built in Lincoln, Alabama, and was also produced in Alliston, Ontario, Canada up until April 2007. The first generation Pilot was released in the summer of 2002 as a 2003 model, and in 2006 it received new front and rear fascias, a redesigned interior, and various standard safety features. The second generation Pilot was released in late 2008 for the 2009 model year.
For 2012 the Pilot is available in the same four trim levels as last year—LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring—and buyers can spec any Pilot with two- or four-wheel drive. On all Pilots, the seemingly Battlestar Galactica–inspired fascia seen on the current model is mostly gone, replaced with a rather plain face for 2012. A three-slat grille has been installed, while the lower edge and fog lights are redesigned. LXs still wear 17-inch steel wheels, but EX models and up gain new 18-inch aluminum wheels (an increase of 1 inch over last year’s). A power rear hatch is now standard on the EX-L, in addition to the Touring.
