2012 Lamborghini Aventador Red bull Review - The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 debuted at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show as a replacement for the Gallardo, which had served as an iconic supercar for a decade. The Lamborghini Aventador Engine is no rehash of the Murcielago -- it has an entirely new, lightweight 12-cylinder engine still positioned in the rear, in front of the axle. The high horsepower is coupled with 509 lb-ft of torque and the new Independent Shifting Rods 7-speed transmission.

Not exactly. As you’re about to find out, the 691bhp Aventador (pronounced ‘event-a-door’, with the emphasis on the first syllable) is a huge leap forward for a company whose flagship model has used an evolution of an engine that first appeared in the middle of a Lambo the same year The Beatles went psychedelic. The Aventador might not be a quantum leap in innovation like how the Ferrari F40 did back in its day, but I wouldn’t complain if someone offered me a ride in one.

2012 Lamborghini Estoque

2012 Lamborghini Estoque - 2012 lamborghini estoque has a front-mounted engine and odds favor a twin-turbo V-8. To be on the safe side, the engine bay is just big enough to house Lamborghini’s V-10, but that thirsty and expensive engine is more appropriate for a hard-core sports car. The show car’s V-8 is derived from the V-10, but for production, Lamborghini is more likely to modify the next A8′s new 4.0-liter, direct-injection twin-turbo V-8. Rated at about 420 hp and 400 lb-ft in A8 guise, it would probably get a power and torque boost to 500 hp and 480 lb-ft.

Lamborghini has designed the dramatic Estoque, revealed in concept form at the Paris auto show. The car is not called a four-door coupe by its makers, but it certainly would travel in the extrawide tire tracks of cars like the Porsche Panamera and the Aston Martin Rapide, both of which it would follow to market, in 2012.

2013 Lamborghini Estoque Prices: Various press reports indicate the 2013 Lamborghini Estoque will start at around $200,000, or roughly the same as the top-line 2008 Gallardo coupe, the LP560-4. But that's presumably in today's dollars; so we'd look for a minimum closer to a quarter-million by the time sales begin.

Frankfurt 2011: Lambo Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale review - Lambo Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale is assembled congeries of the Internet, is the most extreme Lamborghini Gallardo ever built: it is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale. Painted here in a shade Lamborghini calls "Rosso Mars;" the other colors of "Grigio Telesto" or "Bianco Monocerus" can be ordered from the Italian translation of the Harry Potter books.

2012 Lamborghini Spyder

2012 Lamborghini LP550-2 Spyder - These are the first official pics of the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder. It is a rear-wheel-drive version of the drop-top Gallardo, built for the ‘purist'. That's right, it's a drifty Lamborghini. And drifty Lamborghinis are good. The Balboni - that other rear-drive special - was a splendid bit of kit.

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder. As the name suggests, this latest Gallardo variant comes with a 550 hp V10 engine, and the “-2″ stands for the two driven wheels, the rear ones. So this is a mid-engined RWD beast, the topless sister of the tin top LP550-2 Valentino Balboni.

“With the Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder, we are expanding the Lamborghini lineup with a purist model that adds yet another dimension of driving fun. This will appeal in particular to a very special group of customers that enjoy a spirited driving style and also like to experience the sheer pleasure of open-air driving. This special model with RWD is a logical expansion of our lineup of spyder models with AWD,” says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Lamborghini.

Lamborghini - Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. commonly referred to as Lamborghini is an Italian automaker. The company was founded by manufacturing magnate Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963, with the objective of producing a refined grand touring car to compete with established offerings from marques like Ferrari.

The company's first models were released in the mid-1960s, and were noted for their refinement, power, and comfort. Lamborghini gained wide acclaim in 1966 for the Miura sports coupé, which established mid-engine design as the standard layout for high-performance cars of the era. After a decade of rapid growth, hard times befell the company in the mid-1970s, as sales plunged in the wake of the 1973 world financial downturn and oil crisis. After going through bankruptcy and three changes in ownership, Lamborghini came under the corporate umbrella of the Chrysler Corporation in 1987. The American company failed to return the automaker to profitability and sold it to Indonesian interests in 1994. Lamborghini's lack of success continued through the 1990s, until the company was sold in 1998 to Audi, a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, a German automotive concern. Audi's ownership marked the beginning of a period of stability and increased productivity for Lamborghini, with sales increasing nearly tenfold over the course of the 2000s, peaking in record sales in 2007 and 2008. The world financial crisis in the late 2000s negatively affected luxury car makers worldwide, and saw Lamborghini's sales drop back to pre-2006 levels.

Assembly of Lamborghini cars continues to take place at the automaker's ancestral home in Sant'Agata Bolognese, where engine and automobile production lines run side-by-side at the company's single factory. Fewer than 3,000 cars roll off the production line each year. The company currently offers two variations of a single model, the V10-powered Gallardo coupé and roadster. The flagship V12-powered Murciélago coupé and roadster were discontinued at the end of 2010, with a successor expected in 2011.

The Lamborghini Estoque (Spanish pronunciation: [esˈtoke]) is a concept car built by Lamborghini. As we've mention from the start, there is a front mount engine, and in the case of the Estoque concept car this is the V10 engine also found in the Gallardo LP560-4, so expect a horsepower rating of 560 Bhp for this large four seated, with a total length of 515 cm this is a rather inspiring car altogether.

At the moment Automobile Lamborghini SpA is talking about a production version of this concept as early as 2010, almost certainly offering more engine variants, there is even a report about a V12 diesel powered edition.

The open-top sports car segment has seen a lot of pretenders recently, cars that attempt to hang with the big boys only to be reminded that it takes another level of power and fast to be able to belong in elite group of open top sports cars.
