2012 Lamborghini Aventador Review - The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 has a kerb weight of 1,575 Kg (3,472 lbs), mainly due to extensive use of carbon fiber, material which has also been applied to the monocoque structure. Price is less and this new super sports car is also equipped with a Haldex all-weel-drive system, so when accelerating from nought to 62 mph (0 to 100 Km/h) the Aventador LP 700-4 requires only 2.9 seconds. The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 price is 255,000 Eurp (201,900 GBP / 379,700 USD / 6,270,000 RMB / 39,690,000 Yen) and the first customer deliveries are scheduled for late summer 2011.

Lamborghini is really good at creating sinister super sports cars, but it is equally as talented at naming them. According to the company, "Aventador" was the name of a bull that entered into battle on October 1993 at the Saragossa Arena, earning the "Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera" for its outstanding courage. Having the courage to go up against a new world of super sports cars will be the name of the game for the new Lamborghini flagship. Today’s world is extremely high-tech and many new players have entered the arena. Lamborghini has been promoting its carbon-fiber monocoque technology and the Aventador’s 2.9 second 0-62mph, but will that be enough?

Frankfurt 2011: Lambo Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale review - Lambo Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale is assembled congeries of the Internet, is the most extreme Lamborghini Gallardo ever built: it is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale. Based on the Gallardo race car, the LP570-4 STS has a maximum dry weight of 2,954 lbs., about 160 lbs. lighter than the standard Gallardo thanks to repeated visits from the carbon fiber fairy, giving it a 0-62 mph time of 3.4 seconds thanks to the 570-hp V10. Painted here in a shade Lamborghini calls "Rosso Mars;" the other colors of "Grigio Telesto" or "Bianco Monocerus" can be ordered from the Italian translation of the Harry Potter books.

2012 Lamborghini Spyder
2012 Lamborghini LP550-2 Spyder - These are the first official pics of the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder. It is a rear-wheel-drive version of the drop-top Gallardo, built for the ‘purist'. That's right, it's a drifty Lamborghini. And drifty Lamborghinis are good. The Balboni - that other rear-drive special - was a splendid bit of kit.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder. As the name suggests, this latest Gallardo variant comes with a 550 hp V10 engine, and the “-2″ stands for the two driven wheels, the rear ones. So this is a mid-engined RWD beast, the topless sister of the tin top LP550-2 Valentino Balboni.
“With the Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder, we are expanding the Lamborghini lineup with a purist model that adds yet another dimension of driving fun. This will appeal in particular to a very special group of customers that enjoy a spirited driving style and also like to experience the sheer pleasure of open-air driving. This special model with RWD is a logical expansion of our lineup of spyder models with AWD,” says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Lamborghini.
